Actually, I was afraid of that when I listened to the entire 3 minutes of the audio and couldn't really fins a time when there was no talking. I'd think that Audacity needs at least two or three seconds of the noise to be suppressed, am I right?
Thanks anyway for all of the help.
Jim

Re: Custom Shortcut Amplify - no luck
Thanks for your help. Here's a screenshot of my keyboard options. Amplify doesn't appear in the Effects category, or in the XML keyboard shortcuts file.

How to make speech sound like it would in the womb
In other words, I'd like to know if there is a way to preserve the melody, pitch, intonation, vowels, and rythm of speech, but get rid of consonant sounds as much as possible.

Re: Finding plugins when using Audacity built from source co
Hey! Look at that!
Perfect. (Note, for future readers - you HAVE to put the plugins into ~/.audacity-files/plugins. Not enough to just put them in /~.audacity-files)
Sweet. Thank you very much for your help again. I had just about wasted my whole evening on that.
Cheers.

M-S plugin with iMac / Mountain Lion
I have used for years the Windows version with the M-S plugin without any problem.
I just bought an iMac with Mountain Lion and installed the latest Audacity for Mac.
My problem is I can't find an M-S plugin for it.
Any help?
Thanks
