Audacity export doesn't synch with video
... minute recording, the audio lags the video by several seconds. There must be a simple explanation (and fix) for this that I am overlooking. Your help would be greatly appreciated. John

... What are the rates of the tracks and the project rate? Have you tried increasing audio to buffer in Audacity's Recording Preferences? It may help. If you solo the second or third track that seems to be cutting in and out, does it do so then? Please make a five-second audio sample in WAV so ...

Sorry to bother I'm just a quality freak. Then leave them in FLAC. All compression techniques work by causing sound damage. The best you can do is minimize it. It never goes to zero. If your local computer isn't up to the storage job, there are ways to use free cloud storage. People use thumb drive...
