... he did everything with Sadie in what he called, Safe Mode. And to get past the opening black screen he had me hit F-8 repeatedly while booting up. Help. Greg

So now you get to tell us what we're correcting. I got ride of the harshness by suppressing tones around 3000. I "took the foam pad off" by boosting tones from 7000 and higher. This is what my equalizer looks like:

... and Audacity's edit preferences and mixer board and everything else that I can think of. There was an item that fit this description in Audacity's help, but the page was deleted. Can anyone help me out? socalsue

unwanted chorus effect
... chords), i get a chorus effect. The sound doesn't seem natural but seems to have a strange chorus effect. I have not added any effects to it. Any help would be appreciated.

I think that the problem is more about using the mixer than using Audacity so I'm not sure how much we will be able to help you, but it sounds like you are very close to making it work. The basic method to use is to first import your backing track into Audacity (File menu > Import ...

I have got the software playthrough working but its latency issue renders is useless, i have tried to chance all the latency values, and no matter what i put its almost exactly delayed by one second.
