Only able to hear 1st song of a 6 hour recording session

I'm using Windows 7 x64, SP1, Audacity Ver. 2.0.2
Recorded 8 megs worth of music but only able to hear the 1st tune only. Upon opening the file, I observed only the 1st song as been recorded and it is highlighted;
I do not know what I did and I do need help in retrieving my songs......... :(

Weird sound at the end of the track

... the track ends, I hear a sound, similar to the one you can hear when you pull out a jack... :( And the issue is that I can't remove it. Can anyone help me, please? Thanks in advance. :)

Batch command not recognized message[SOLVED]

Hi Folks

New to Audacity, I am trying to batch process some MP3 files using Windows 8 in order to make them loader, I am using 'apply chain'
but keep getting the error message 'your batch command off was not recognised'. I'm new to this sort of thing, anyone help?
