Delete extraneous labels
... generated in the silent sections or in a pause in the ongoing track. I can't seem to find a way to just delete the extraneous label. Can someone help? Bill

How Do I Add Music to an Existing Narration?

Thanks for the reply Steve. I've tried both options on the record input. First option.. Speakers realtek high definition... Second option..Speakers mix track pro.. I press start monitoring or record nothing happens. I'm using serato on my laptop with the mix track pro through usb. I have stereo jack...

Hi I'm having trouble recording when using Serato & Numark mixtrack pro. I can record windows media player ok but when I try using mixpro it doesn't seem to pick up the signal. You need to set the recording input in Audacity (in the device toolbar ) to record the appropriate sound input. When u...

Recording two different tracks simultaneously
So basically what I would like to do with Audacity is do audio interviews over a VoIP. I need one track to record system audio, and one track to record from my mike. I can't seem to figure out how to adjust track inputs. Any help would be appreciated. Windows 7, Audacity 2.05.

The problem is solved. Following the instructions left by Koz and Gale I was able to delete the preferences file. The crackling is gone and playback is as clean as ever. Thanks guys for all the help and hanging with me on this one.
