Ambience plug in not showing up
... where to be found. Audacity does not search for new plug ins, it just opens. So I am wondering if this is a software program, at this point. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

... sound like they are in a tunnel, see here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_recording_troubleshooting.html#enhancements . If that doesn't help, please tell us what version of Windows you have, tell us exactly what you are recording and post an audio sample of the problem. Gale

Ok, here is a 24-bit FLAC 10 second clip of my audio recording.I think the reason I was getting distortion and my recordings didn't sound good before is because I was using a leveler and doing other things before equalization and I wasn't sure what to do with the audio to get the right volume levels...
