Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise

That's one possibility. The other is your new motherboard has ratty 5 volts supplied to the USB ports. Audio from the microphone to the computer is digital and fairly robust, but making the audio inside the microphone is analog and subject to interference problems. There is electronic processing ins...

Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise

The sound is probably due to electrical interference.
If your new computer parts are not yet installed in a case, try putting them in a case and see if that reduces the noise.

Re: Chain Help

over the original files in the same bitrate etc wav format I don't think Audacity Chains is stable enough to do that. The problem with saving a file over itself is the risk of destroying the original and the production since they're both open for a time. If Audacity goes down during that interval, ...

Auto save for online recording

Hi guys. New to the forum. I need your help on an issue.
I need to record my radio station 24 x 7. Audacity can do that but it would be
helpful if i could automaticaly save a record on a specific time period.
Or by size of a file.
Does Audacity give me that possibility?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Upgrade from Audacity 1.3 Beta Windows 7-64 bit Professi

So Gayle are you saying it will just install over it, as the newer version? I already have admin authority.

If this be the case I imagine the link I want to use is this, correct?
Audacity 2.0.5 installer (.exe file, 21.2 MB, including help files) for Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8

Chain Help

So I have a whole bunch of stereo wav files I wish to convert to mono and export (over the original files in the same bitrate etc wav format). I have tried investigating chains to do these in batch but have had no luck finding a function for it. Can anyone help?
