WAV to MP3 CONVERSION ADDING SIX SECONDS AT END
... but once I convert it in Audacity and export it as teh 192 mp3, it shows up with six seconds added - even though the source has 3.5 at the end. HELP!!! Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?!! Many thanks for any suggestions --- JAMIE

... sound has the center removed e.g. lacks bass, drums vocals or solo instruments. Press the solo button to listen to it in isolation. There's some Help text available for each action entry. To display it, select the action and set "Show Help" to "Selected Action".

You can turn on Clipping Indicator: View > Show Clipping to help you find the damaged work, but I don't think automation is going to come to your rescue. A tool like that would not help very much and would probably make the problem worse. A damaged wave ...
