... this problem has anything to do with the latest version of Audacity only, because if I'm not wrong the version on my PC might be an older one. Any help would be much appreciated.

I just want to change the pitch of a track and I didn't check the function of the bottom left to the window.

Thank you for help now I hope that I understand how it works. When you have saved the new file as a mp3 file is it possible the check the new frequency? I will get sure that I made it right.

You can continue to record at the end of any existing track with Append Record (Shift-R). Does that help?

I believe it's a MAC as well.
