To change only the tempo without changing pitch, use Sliding Time Scale/Pitch Shift instead of Change Tempo. Change Tempo tends to introduces silences which will be significant in a very short clip. But Audacity is purely an audio editor so will not help you with the video clips ...

Recently upgraded to Audacity 2.0.5 using the .dmg installer and when I export MP3 files at 128 kbps, they show up in the Get Info for the MP3 files as having exported at 127 kbps. How can I fix this?

I am using Mac OS 10.6.8 on MacBook Pro laptop.
