Need some help, every so often audacity crashes on me when i press the stop recording button. What i need to know can i import the au files that it creates while recording to create a complete recording? Hope this makes sense?

Thanks for your reply. The Problem is that we don't have separate Sound timelines. The double recording is on timeline 1 (the only one). I asked a peron who knows the Programme and he said, he cannot explain or help.

Sorry Gale, didn't realise as just looking for some sort of help from wherever I can find it. I am not double clicking on the file, it just won't open. I have even uninstalled it and re-installed it but it's not happening... I am using windows 8 64 bit ...
