Re: Trouble setting up PC, choices are different

The device I am setting up is an audio-technica AT-LP60-USB, and the CD included is for the 2.0.3 version. Sorry I missed the link to the manual in your first response, I've downloaded 2.0.5 and will see how that works out. Thanks for your help, Gail.

Re: Editing Comfortably Numb Live Pulse Version Uncut

I ended up reducing the sound quality, as you had suggested.
I used methods such as Clip Fix and Equalization and I ended up with something that I could be satisfied with.
Thank You very much for your help !

Re: Trouble setting up PC, choices are different

Thanks for your help, Gail. I was able to do the first bits, but when I open Audacity it all goes wrong again. I think that is because the manual that came with my 2.0.3 shows the screens from 1.2.6 so I don't, for starters, have ...

Re: Out of tune frustration.....

... very frustrating.... What version of Linux and version number? Does this distro use pulseaudio? What version of Audacity? All three numbers from Help > About Audacity. Did you install Audacity from the repository or compile it? Is the Alesis both the output and input device in Device Toolbar? ...

Re: Input only comes in on left side left HELP!

Thanks for replying but I've had it plugged in to the left and on mono and I'm still getting no input on the right. Please read the reply you were given carefully. If you set Audacity to record one channel (mono) in the fourth box of Device Toolbar then there will be no right channel, only the left...

Re: Help With Recording Issue Please.

... USB Mic is plugged into its own USB port and not a hub or USB insert on a keyboard. Second, if possible try using a different USB cable. This will help determine if the mic is faulty or not. Third, be sure you do not have too many USB devices plugged in simultaneously. The mic and cable are fine, ...
