Re: Distortion in Recording

... old and I've never had a need to record so tempting fate with new drivers on a very old card may not be the best route to follow. Thanks for the help.

Re: Need Help Recording

Hi guys, If this problem is still persisting, perhaps you get in touch with myself and some colleagues regarding technical support? This sounds like quite an unusual issue. However, I can assure you that our drivers have been bench tested and are fully functional on Windows 8. http://uk.focusrite.co...

... performance and use that as the profile, and then apply the tool to the whole show -- or at least enough of the show so you can tell it's going to help or not. No use sitting through processing a two-hour show only to find it's not going to help. Once you get settings that work, then you can apply ...

Re: Amplify not making sound loud enough?

-snip- Koz Before I seeked help from the forums, I already successfully used amplify and compress. My problem is that it sounds loud and everything when I play it back, but in L4D2 the audio sounds completely unchanged. I don't think it's ...

Thanks for the help anyway! :)

Re: Periodic noise/static/buzz/interference. Please help

The power either comes down the USB cable from the computer, or it comes from the wall, the wall having priority. With everything connected, we can unplug the wall power and watch the lights on the hub flicker as it changes sources. None of the audio connections carry power. We use a different featu...

Re: Periodic noise/static/buzz/interference. Please help

USB Soundcards are a good compromise, given they're not broken, but can have one serious noise problem. While the audio going to the computer is digital and relatively robust, the power to run the USB soundcard is analog five volts from the computer and can be "dirty" with bad regulation,...

Thanks Koz, I didn't know that about the connections you mentioned here.
