I have same issue. Went to that help page and it helped me to be able to hit the rec button without an error message. However clueless on how to record computer audio to an mp3 file. Would like this to be simple like it was with Freecorder before they ruined it with malware.

... my cassette player with no success. I am using a Sony Walkman Audio Cassette recorder. When I play the tapes normally, there is no distortion. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Chuck

Below the file output of this wfgui tool in the time domain. Pretty much what I was after, as it seems :
The sampling rate is double the carrier - here its 6300Hz - as expected (twice 3150Hz).
Could you help in creating a code for something similar ?

... and in any RME settings. It could be that recent Audacity is more sensitive to settings, or it could be that the RingBuffer fix in 2.0.6 will help. Gale
