... through the PC because then when I go to edit, I don't have to move the headphones from the PhonoPlus to the PC. Thanks once again for your help.

The tracks I have are quite long and will not fit on the timeline. Zoom out a bit so that you can see more of the time line: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/zooming.html If you're using Audacity 2.0.5 there is also an option to align tracks "end to end" http://manual.audacityteam.org...

Have you tried turning off Transport > Sound Activated Recording: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tr ... u.html#sar ?

Should this be in the main Help part of the Forum? Are you French? What version of Windows or Mac do you have?

Hi,

I've got a problem with Audacity 2.0.5. when I record lyrics with a microphone on a instrumental song, there is a bug with the "Pause" Button that change randomly and without any action from me. have you any solution? i had already reinstalled the software

Thanks I am back to square 1 now ! When I tried making a montage the other day it was using small pieces of audio. The tracks I have are quite long and will not fit on the timeline. I have three separate tracks they are not to big maybe 30 seconds each and I want to join them all up to make a montag...

... the right spot on the FAQ was exactly what I needed and it gave me the fix. I had dug around a bunch both in the FAQ, in the forum, and in Windows help forums and not found this simple fix. Not sure why I couldn't find it but you did, so thanks again. Separate subject as to why Windows would default ...

... I'd been recording into audacity at 32 float? Have I in actual fact been recording in at 16-bit, as per the setup in the volume controls? Any help greatly appreciated
