... looked for utilities to make some sort of hard break or whatever at the end, but have not seen anything. See screen shot attached if that will help. ????

No I don't think that Audacity will help you. It is designed to be run on a local machine and is not suitable for running on a web server.

... Audacity that is compatible with your sound device, you shouldn't get resampling distortion or speed problems that can happen if you use MME. See Help > Audio Device Info in Audacity to view the sample rates your device claims to support.

Thanks for the help. I will try this tonight when I get home. I have used the ION software with the turntable, it worked fine. I really like Audacity and its features. So if I am understanding correctly, I cannot use the small headphone ...

Recording sounds worbled/underwater

... most who use this program says that it works really well, I am a first time user and just really cant get the recorded version to sound right. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using a Sony jam box. I have not made any changes on my HP Computer. Thanks.

Weird metallic background sound when recording

So recently i'v gone back into recording things but whenever I try I get this weird metallic background noise. i'v tried several microphones and headsets and they all come out with the same sound. The room i'm in is completely silent. Any help?
