Apologies, another query.
When I look at the Properties/details of the exported files it shows an audio bit rate of 352kbps rather than 64kbps. How can I change this?

I am using Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.2.0-60-generic i686)
1 year ago I was using Audacity to record music & sound. No problem
But how I just cannot record anything.
The speaker meter doesn't move at all.

Can't hear recorded music clearly
I just started using Audacity and I am trying to record lyrics with my microphone over audio tracks. When I play back what has been recorded, I hear my voice clearly but the audio/music is being played faintly as if thru my headphones and not loud like in normal playback. Please help. Thanks
