... a message that "Critical Nyquist files cannot be found". I see both PlugIns and Nyquist in the installer, but am unclear how to proceed. Help? Thanks!

I have Audacity version 2.0.5 and my computer runs on 64 bit Windows 7. When recording from YouTube to iTunes I only get about half of the playback volume. My english is not very good, and I am probably misunderstand something in the Help topics.

... terminates in another plug of some sort. My other method is to plug in my active speakers as they have their own volume control. Is that going to help if plugging in headphones doesn't kill the internal speakers? Gale

... record. I don't think it's related to the decks or mixer because the noise is there when I press record without a record playing. If anyone can help or point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

... the track was over-amp'd and would clip. On this new install, it no longer shows this. I can't find a preference to change to bring this back. Any help is appreciated.

See http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tu ... _Isolation . For your method to work the instrumentals must be identical in both tracks. They won't be if you pulled arbitrary files from the internet. Lossy formats like MP3 won't help.

... opened the AUP files in Audacity and there was no audio (just a flat line). Were there errors displayed when opening the project? Did you look in Help > Show Log... ?
