trying to burn cassettes to CD

... recording it but couldn't seem to get it to where I could burn it onto a CD. Now 2 days later I can't seem to find anything. Hope someone can help me on this. I am using windows 7

I was once stuck with burning software that was intentionally crippled in order to sell a CD Authoring Program, but they were't clear about that on the box. That and the help people didn't know about the abbreviated version. Koz

Interesting...per above suggestions, I tried the cd burning software which came with my Lenovo PC...I WAS able to use CorelBurn to burn the original downloaded files to cdr...the same files which EAC did not recognize...I guess the lesson to be learned is that if one cd burning program does not work...

... read/write head has to jump around from file-to-file. A SSD might be worth considering. I'm buying a dedicated laptop... A dedicated machine will help (to some extent) in the reliability department since you are less likely to mess something up doing other things.

Rather than copy and pasting between projects, try exporting your recordings as WAV files, then you can just "Import" them into one project. I tried doing this in a variety of different formats... even importing "raw"... and it didn't seem to make a difference. So far, the only ...

To set the sample rate of exported files, set the "Project Rate" (lower left corner of the main Audacity window) before you export. The "Project Rate" sets the sample rate that will be used when exporting.

I have something that I recorded and am trying to copy/paste into another project. Rather than copy and pasting between projects, try exporting your recordings as WAV files, then you can just "Import" them into one project. Audacity can work with multiple projects open at the same time, b...

I used VLC to analyze the original downloaded file: Stream 0 Type: Audio Codec: PCM S16 LE (araw) Channels: Stereo Sample Rate: 48000 Hz Bits per sample: 16 I tried running it on the one I thought I had converted to 44100, but it would not analyze it. I tried the MediaInfo link without the installer...

OK... I have found somewhat of a fix. My tracks are ideally supposed to overlap, but they aren't always playing simultaneously. If I generate silence on the other tracks, that seems to remove the popping and low quality...

??? I'm not sure why this is necessary....

... exactly the same... both project rates are 44100hz, 32-bit, etc), and I can't figure out why it won't paste in the same quality as the original. HELP!! :x
