I got this unworkable .File extension when I asked them to do FLAC or WAV. To guess at your issue, don't add dots (periods) into the file name. Hi, Hope someone can help. Set up: Technics SL-1210 x2, KAM KMX-300 Mixer, Citronic AC-1USB audio interface, Audacity 2.0.5 When I record from vinyl into Audacity I lose certain elements within some records, e.g. sax, keys, guitar. ...

The file is garbage. Noise can't be removed without removing the wanted audio if noise is spread across the entire frequency spectrum and is much louder than the wanted audio. Vocals can't be removed with Audacity's Vocal Removal (or most vocal removal plug-ins) with a mono track - stereo is needed....
