Hello everyone, I have an audio file that is about 30 minutes long. In the middle of the recording I need to have about 10-15 minutes of the recording only. No sound with other applications after installing Audacity
After installing Audacity 2.0.5 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine, I cannot get sound from other applications such as YouTube, CD Architect, system sounds, Windows Media Player and other applications. When I use Audacity, I get sound. This is extremely frustrating. Please help.

... but sometimes, say, there is one ringing overtone that is not the peak frequency and I want to cut it out. It can be figured out with the help of Analyze, Spectrum but I was thinking of simplifying it.
