Radio Effect w/o Filter...?

Keystroke recorded at beginning of take (append record)
... can start recording 200ms-500ms after the button press, I likely won't hear the keyboard. Or is there another solution I'm missing? Thanks for the help!

... audio settings. Do we know what the default is, or where that is stored? Also, I could reduce the latency untill I get an error? If that would help show someone where the error is occuring and fix it.

I've added - env PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30 audacity - to the KDE launcher and it now works to play audio again. Couple of arising questions that might help other users, Could setting the pulse latency effect recording? or have any other knock on effects? Perhaps. Do you see underrun messages in Terminal ...

This is precisely my objection to this mixer. Your Phantom Power Inserter is designed to supply proper 48 volt phantom power to the microphone and naturally assumes there's nothing on the mixer side. Yes, that should work, and I note that one reviewer on Amazon ended up with much the same arrangement when he discovered the phantom power wasn't really 48V.
