For now I would suggest you go to Help > Audio Device Info... in Audacity 2.0.5 and post the contents of that here. Do the same for 2.0.4 if you try that version. My interface is on ...

No problem, use the hub with your mouse, keyboard, printer, scanner, lava-lamp, chess game, photoframe, ... just not with your audio interface which requires reliable real-time data streaming.rj7500 wrote: If one is using many peripherals the port is unfortunately a must have.

True, but the computer designers seem to be cheating on the number of USB ports lately. If one is using many peripherals the port is unfortunately a must have.

... that WDM-KS could freeze or crash your computer because some motherboard sound devices have problems with it. For now I would suggest you go to Help > Audio Device Info... in Audacity 2.0.5 and post the contents of that here. Do the same for 2.0.4 if you try that version. Gale
