... all of these files are corrupt. It is possible they were created with a previous build of Audacity 2. Would that make a difference? Thanks for any help you can give! Jeff

Try WIN + X and Shut Down. Don't use the Power button or Shut Down from the Charms Bar as that is not a full shut down.
If that does not help, choose 44100 Hz or 48000 Hz Project Rate bottom left of Audacity.
Try a different Audio Host in Audacity's Device Toolbar.

Mix & Render changes made with envelope tool
... my vocals are over. When I go to mix and render the vocal track with the song track, it takes away the changes I made with the envelope tool. Any help? I'm using Audacity 2.0.5 on a mac using version 10.9.4 I included a screen shot of before and after mix & rendering.
