Version 2.0.5, Windows 7 SP1.

I reinstalled windows 7 and all my drivers are up-to-date. Any time I launch audacity I get a random color screen and am forced to shut off the pc manually.

Help?

Hi, i'm new on this software and maybe I'm doing something wrong, please correct me.
I'm trying to edit a song, cut pieces out of it, and after watching videos on youtube, did so as instructed, high lit the area and click edit, then have to hit Cut but it is deactivated.
Please help.

Audacity does not yet support markers in WAV files (very few WAV players do) and it would not help the CD burner. I suggest you label interesting points in the long track that would be useful to jump to, then export multiple WAV files based on those label points. Burn ...

... those drivers the mixer could behave unpredictably. Can you reveal the model number of the mixer? The more detail you give, the more we can help, and vice-versa. Gale

hi, selection tool is not working. whenever i click, the line appears either to the left or the right of where you have clicked, sometimes it doesnt register at all

The "rumor" is that too light of a tracking force can damage the grooves as well as too much force. The experts seem to prefer running at (or near) the cartridge's maximum, rather at the minimum. That depends on the vintage of the cartridge/arm and of the record too. A Garrard 301 with a ...
