I have downloaded the latest Audacity to my Toshiba Satellite C660 (Win 7) Laptop I can use Audacity OK on my Desktop. But on the laptop I can only record from the built-in mike! Some computers don't offer the "stereo mix" aka "what-u-hear" option in Windows recording devices, (...

For others.....I had to go into:- Control Panel/Sound/Recording/right click to "show disabled devices"........and enable "Stereo Mix"

... My problem is I want to get the equalizer settings including the reverb just like the settings in Android Phones.. In music player of Android Phones, there's "Sound Effect" settings and that's the equalizer and there's plate reverb at the bottom. There is a nice new free reverb plugin...

Can you post the information from Help > Audio Device Info... top right of Audacity? Then we can see what devices you have. Did you try simply playing to the headset? Do you hear anything ...
