Thanks so much for the help thus far...got some songs saved and I am trying "export multiple" because I want to save all four songs on one CD (4 tracks on a CD). I get past export multiple and it tries to save metadata? I thought I would be looking for the audio and not the data file?

Are you using the latest Audacity 2.0.6? See Help > About Audacity... to see which Audacity version you have. If you don't have 2.0.6, I suggest you obtain it from http://audacityteam.org/download/windows . when i import 100 file then make effect ...

... between sections, make sure you have not dragged a small selection in error - if you do that, only that small selection will export. Also look at Help > About Audacity... and check you have the latest Audacity 2.0.6. Old versions of Audacity may have a bug that does not export the correct length ...

... but to no avail. Are you talking about repairing recordings that already have the crackle? Have you made a recording using UMC 202 yet? We cannot help you diagnose or repair the crackle unless you post a sample of the "cracks" so we can hear them. Select 5 seconds of the crackly recording ...

... if they are in the _data folder but not in the correct subfolder within the _data folder. Have you rearranged the files in the _data folder? Help > Show Log... will tell you exactly where it expects each AU file to be inside the _data folder. Gale
