I've downloaded and extracted Audacity 2.06 and my laptop is running on Linux Mint 17. However, there's no clear icon to actually open the program. There are folders labeled autotools dox2-src, help, images, lib-src, locale etc. But there isn't any clear way to just open the program and get started.

I tried it again, and it seemed i forgot to mark it the first time. I think i got evrything working, and am trying to export the file now (a 3 hour long process ) thank you for the help, its really appreciated
