This is the location of my temp folder: C:UsersDalenAppDataLocalTempaudacity_temp. Are you Dalen? If not you will need to be logged in as an Administrator to write to other users' space. Do you have Norton? Or other apps that clean your temporary disk space for you? I was a bit confused on this par...

... it using FFmpeg. Make sure you followed the instructions I gave to import by choosing "FFmpeg-compatible files". If that does not help then the file may have corrupted headers. How long should it be? MediaInfo says it is only 38 seconds, and if so it should only be around 2 MB ...

You can however specify the constant bit rate if you choose "Custom FFmpeg Export" instead of "M4A (AAC) Files (FFmpeg)". Click the Options... button, choose "mp4" in the formats list and "libvo_aacenc" in the codecs list, then set bit rate in bits per second...

AIF turns out distorted when imported [SOLVED]
... mastering and conversion for quite some time now and have never experienced this issue before. My mixes are always recorded with Serato DJ. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
