If you install Audacity with the recommended installer, the manual is included and can be found in the Help menu.

I have followed the provided instructions and downloaded the manual zip file. I have unzipped it so a "Help" folder appears under the program filesx86audacity path and still the program tells me I don't have the help file loaded. I am unsure how to install it properly. ...
