... a single 1/8 inch plug carrying both left and right channels. Given you have a stereo line-in, the mic input will be mono, so the mic input won't help you at all. Mic adjustment inoperative when using USB input
... to adjust it. I'm not sure if that is just the nature of the beast when using a USB input, or if maybe I need to tweak the settings somewhere. Any help or info would be most appreciated. btw, I'm using Audacity 2.0.2 & did the .exe install.

... appears to be too bright and sharp. Now it's different. A Yeti is not a terrible microphone and that points to Windows doing something to "help you." It is Windows, right? Macs tend to not have these kinds of problems. So. Dig in the Windows setups and see if it isn't running something ...

Solution Reinstalling pulseaudio and pavucontrol did not help. However, when in pavucontrol -> configuration I switch the internal sound card off, I can record from the usb-sondcard as intended. However, Audio Device Info in Audacity -> help still shows ...
