Specifiy amount of blending from stereo to mono?
I listen to ambient noise audio tracks to help me create white noise while studying. Is there a way to specify a blend from stereo to mono? The reason I ask is because with certain audio tracks, when in stereo, it's too much at the ears and headphones, ...

Re: Audio help
No, their levels are ok, it's more their leves compared to ours.
They're really strong audio in the mix and we sound distant, all the levels are set at zero, but the levels are not the same.
Also would like some advice on how to decrease the b/g hiss during recording.
Thanks
Lee

Re: how to get it between -23db and -18db for ACX standard

... the way. So far, it's working just great. It is a bit tedious, doing it click by click, but very effective. I'm finding coffee and chocolate bits help the process. When I get it done, I'll post before and after clips -- Jan H.

Re: Audio help
Remarkably like the way I did it. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/PodCast_Studio_WS.jpg But I'm having trouble with the audio levels between our Skype hosts and us. Shouldn't you be able to just reach over and advance the slider called "Skype" that's feeding the mixed show? They won't c...
