I force quit the application and when I re-opened Audacity the sound file that it recovered was silent and this new silent version had re-written the previous version. Audacity normally works for me on Windows 7. But starting yesterday, when I tried to open up Audacity (I think it's 2.0.6), it gave me a "side-by-side configuration" error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it various times and it still won't open. I would love some help, please.
