Re: 2 second of silence
... turned it off - you just get a pop in Audacity until you play audio in QuickTIme. If you run this: Antipop to keep audio services running, does it help? I don't know if that targets USB audio, though. You may find that trying different Audio to buffer settings in Audacity could give some improvement. ...

Re: Latency and Sound Problems
... http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#mac_launch . Adjusting the Audio to Buffer setting to 50 appears to have helped reduce the problem of Audacity stalling when I press record, so thank you for that suggestion. Currently, Audacity will stall the first time ...

Re: Label problem
I can't quite follow what exactly you are doing, but perhaps the following information will help. Labels are positioned by times in seconds, accurate to six decimal places. Audio edits are accurate to "one sample period". The smallest time unit for audio is ...

Re: Help needed to set up an audio book project!
After you get the first few books under your belt, then you can try to record them yourself in your apartment, with an eye to your hired studio if it doesn't work out. Self Recording is much more difficult than people think. There is a studio across from where I sometimes have breakfast. It's called...

Re: Help needed to set up an audio book project!
While I have a warm-fuzzy feeling that our reputation has gotten this far out in the wild, this is the Audacity help forum. This is the place you go to share your experiences and help others to get Audacity working. It's not a help desk and it's not a course on how to record sound ...

Re: Help installing LV2 plugins
it appears that your link you've given me it's what I was looking for. In this file there are some folders and I think inside the folder "Plugins" is what I'm searching, the lv2 plugins. But now, I tried to copy this folder which includes several plugins, like "alias-swh.lv2" or...
