So I finally got everything working, but when listening to the saved file, the sound is almost as if I was using a phone to record it and not from my laptop. You can hear my TV in the back round.

iTunes supports encoding / decoding HE-AAC.

Hi,

We are struck up with generating sine waves for HE-AAC format.
We have tried using tools like Audacity, Gold Wave, Lame Encoder, FFMpeg, Fraunhoffer etc and several forums available over web. Could not still get a break through.

Any help is highly appreciated.

I doubt that a great deal can be done through audio processing. Careful microphone placement may help to some extent, but the major part of any improvement is most likely to come from you. Sorry to harp on about this, but I do think that your best chance of improving voice ...

Ok so I recorded a quick 15 minute mix. But when I play it back there is no sound.

... / singing for you? You could practice speaking with more "breath" as you speak. Any good voice trainer could give you exercises the will help with breathing and improved timbre.

I pull it up but it won't let me do anything when I start playing music. It won't let me post the picture but I'm at the main screen but can't/don't know how to set it up. I'm not the most computer savvy individual.
