USB Mic not showing up as an input option

Hi guys,

I have a blue Yeti USB mic that I've plugged into my mac but Audacity isn't recognising it so I can't select it to you use as my input or output. My mac is recognising it and I have selected the Yeti as my mic of choice in my System Preferences.
Not sure what else to do... Please help.

Re: Menuitems "Quick Help" and "MAnual" show HTML-code

You have to go one level deeper - the "index.html" file should be in a "manual" folder inside the "help" folder.

Please post the audio device info I requested in my last post ( Help > Audio Device Info... top right of the Audacity menus). Then we can talk using specific device names.

Re: Manipulating Decibels

... what kills people most is recording in a noisy environment. That damages the sound of the show and it messes up the ability of the other tools to help. So how do we listen to your work? If I haven't rained on your parade enough, there's Ian who holds the current record for the longest forum posting, ...

... thought I was doing pretty well, but realize now that I don't really know the first thing about how to 'master' the final product. I talked to a helpful guy at ACX who pointed me at Analyze>Contrast on Audacity and I've been reading the posts here and online about Normalizing, Amplifying, Compressing, ...

Re: How to recover data after renaming file?

I don't think this is going to help, but if you open up one of your AUP files in TextEdit, you should be able to read the original show name after projname=" Both the AUP file and the _DATA folder need to be named that and they need ...

Re: Menuitems "Quick Help" and "MAnual" show HTML-code

Find the "help" folder in the Audacity installation folder, then find the "index.html" file within the help folder.
Double click on the "index.html" file.
Does it open in Firefox?
