Hi guys,
I've filmed something and there seem to be a slight echo "effect" on the audio that I would like to get rid of.
I'm quite new to Audacity and would love someone's help on how to do that.
(if you can point me to a YouTube clip this would also be great.
Thank you

Re: Will not record from Yamaha mixer
... where exactly are you connecting it to on the Yamaha mixer? If you won't co-operate with us by answering our questions then unfortunately we can't help you. You could try asking Yamaha instead. Gale

creating 1 channel WAV
Hello, Please read below:
"You need to make sure Audacity is truly creating 1 channel WAV. Even though you selected Mono, it may be writing 2-channels, with 1 channel silenced."
Does anyone know how I can make sure that this isn't happening?!
Please help,
Thanks!

Re: The development about VST Effect
I have moved this topic to the "General Audio Programming" forum. We may not be able to offer much help on this forum, as the focus of the forum is about helping people to use Audacity. I have some programming experience, but I don't use Windows, so I don't use MSVS ...

Re: Hiss after amplifying
Thanks, Steve. Since I've come in after the recording was done I can't change that.
Do you think I can amplify to 30 dB without hiss or is that a calculated guess. It would be nice to know where the hiss comes in without running a bunch of tests.
As always, thanks for the help.
Charlie
