Have a read of this Tutorial from the Audacity Manual on Looping: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tu ... oping.html

In the next release of Audacity due out quite soon there are some big improvements to the Timeline functionality which should make the looping process a bit easier.

Need help with repeating a riff

Hello, I'm writing/recording a song using audacity, and I would like to repeat a riff several times, however, for some reason, I can't get a smooth transition from riff to riff, there's always either a jump or a slight delay

Note that earlier versions of Audacity only had the full height "Combined Meter Toolbar". To check the Audacity version, look in Help > About Audacity.

... At worst it will scream with feedback. Please state which version of Windows you are using, the exact three-section version of Audacity from Help > About Audacity and whether you obtained the .exe installer or the zip. What exactly are you trying to record, and what equipment are you using?
