... menu to open Disk Utility. Select your system drive and Verify Disk and then when that's done, Repair Permissions. I did this and it was very helpful! Thank you! Restart your Mac while holding the "shift" key. That will land you in a mode without startup apps and non-Apple kernel ...

POST THE RAW CLIP, not the patched one. Once you start to patch audio on your own, we can't fix it any more.

Why do you want the mixer? You can do overdubbing with almost no equipment. That's what's so cool about it.
