Recording volume very low...

... this is the first time I've used it to record since I got it. I've tried just about everything I can think of with no luck. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer with this. Please don't get too technical because you'll just lose me. I'm not an idiot but I'm not a audio expert by any stretch ...

I gonna try to Remove the hardcoded maximum of 1000000 Hz alone. If i need help where i can repost a topic ? Still same forum ? First, get wxWidgets built, then Audacity built, without making any changes. If you need help doing that, post in the Compiling Audacity ...

I looked at the manual and the help files and nothing tells me how to select a part of the waveform. I have Audacity 2.1.1 and the latest Mac OS - whatever that is. On my Mac I normally use the mouse with "command" or with "shift" ...

... (or reinstalling) the latest 2.1.1 version of Audacity with "Reset Preferences" checked (ticked) half way through the installer might help. Gale

I am using Audacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode) through a Windows 7 operating system We can't help you with that obsolete and probably very buggy version of Audacity. Please read the pink panel at the top of the page. I strongly suggest updating to the latest 2.1.1 version ...
