Well I guess I spoke to soon
I rewrote my virgin image to update & make a new image of my system only to find when I disabled those things it does not work again. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help. Windows WASAPI (loopback) is a little better, but not the quality I normally expect from an Audacity recording. The original source is a stream, not something that can be downloaded. You can still "dump" ...

The "help screen" for the legacy Vocal Remover plugin says lossless files are better than MP3 or compressed formats.
