Yes, the MAX_PATH variable specifies that a complete directory path in Windows can’t exceed 260 total characters, including the drive letter, colon, backslash and null (invisible) backlash at the end. So you only have a potential "real" path size of 256 characters such as C:\your-256-chara...

What are you trying to do?
Is your radio show a "live" radio show?
Are you trying to record a radio show?
What operating system are you using? (which version of Windows?)
Which version of Audacity (look in "Help > About Audacity" for the full version number).

Playing music on Audacity (Online Radio show)

... time to search the next track. (that is of course with another computer connected to my Mackie ProFX8) If anyone here knows how to do this please help me. So far i have been using another laptop and a phone to play music without much delay.

... Noise Reduction: Settings 6, 6, 6 > OK I expect the hiss level to decrease if you do that. It may not turn into a studio performance, but it will help. Let us know.
