I am attempting to record and am unable to listen through my headphones at the same time. Sound records beautifully but cant hear a thing !

Sorry, this isn't going to help you but with the same settings (E3 to B3) I don't get an error. (I'm running the same version of Audacity on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.)
