Can't import WAV file

... I do that and the file imports but as a buzzing track. The audio I'm trying to import is an audio book recorded at a local radio station. Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: Importing to stereo tracks

Importing to stereo tracks

... of a single stereo track. My experience with processing sound tracks is virtually none. I downloaded Audacity with a hope that this tool will help me generate a sound I need. I was able to read the original track tracks (.wav format), then I created a new sound, this one being simply a sinusoidal ...

Re: help with file recovery from temp

Didn't it offer to recover [Yes|No]? I didn't think there was a search and rescue component to it.

Unless you were using a really early Audacity.... What version are you using?

I'm using Audacity 2.1.0 and 2.1.1.

help with file recovery from temp

Hi folks,
Just finished a recording for a podcast and Audacity crashed. In relaunch, a pop-up indicated there are unsaved files available for recovery but I've not had any luck finding the file path to access those...and I really want to. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Latency problem with mix board

First, thank you for taking the time to try and help. I appreciate it. I've done all you suggested. I am able to hear my first track, and my live guitar, in the headphones connected to my Alesis. When I try to record, I have a repeat, I assume it's ...
