That's classic MIDI. That's how my old keyboard worked with a mini version of the CakeWalk MIDI Sequencer software. Audacity doesn't speak MIDI. ... and force quit Audacity. Then launch Audacity again. It should ask again if you want to recover the project. Say yes. Then show me the contents of Help > Show Log... . If necessary, drag from the top to the bottom of the log window. COMMAND + C to copy. Then paste into your reply. Gale

Sorry, Gale, Forgot to specify. Yes, pink in the microphone port and green in the headphone port.
I was wondering, is there perhaps some way to loop the repair function? As far as I can see, the clicks are 2 slightly different widths at the same time interval.

... if you play it with WASAPI host - it is only a playback problem? If so what is your selected playback device in Audacity?
