Since I updated to Window 10, I found out, every time when I record, the audacity recording always sounds like a hoarse male voice.
Even a kid records it, it still sounds like that. I want to know why. Could any one help me solve this problem. Thanks.

... and these were also, flat. If you import the AU files into Audacity and they are are a flat line, and there is no error shown for that import in Help > Show Log... (see the bottom of the log) then the audio is just silence. There is no way to change that. There will be no Time Machine backup ...

... on the data and these were also, flat. I definitely recorded the audio when i taped it, Is there anyway to recover my original files. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. I am not very good with the backend side of computers but willing to learn if written simply. Thanks in advance.

If you got a good AUP file on the original computer, then chances are good you also got that _DATA folder on that same computer...somewhere. If you no longer have access to the original computer, that's the end of the world.
