I overwrote my project file; any way to retrieve?
... 8 and there is no Restore Previous Versions as well as I did not have my File History turned on so neither of those are an option for me. Please help I can't redo what was done in that recording.

Is doing a web search the only way to go to a particular subject within the manual -- say, "Normalize" or "Silence Finder"? There doesn't seem to be a search facility within Help -> Manual. Thanks.

Reduce "Audio to buffer" at Audacity, Preferences..., "Recording" section.
