Re: Saving Files? [SOLVED]

Solved the problem. It was saving to my computer as a .pdf. There was a setting in abobe that I needed to change to tell it to open as wav. My computer did not recognize it automatically. It now opens in Windows Media player so it should be no problem to work with in Windows. Thanks for all the help.

It appears at first pass they want a stereo show with exactly the same thing on both sides. But that's what they compla...

Re: Would love to get some help on this project

A couple of things I don't understand.... Is the original MP3 file mono or stereo? Is there only one file, or two mono files? Dual monaural in stereo WAV file I'm not sure I understand what that means... Do they want the same thing on the left & right? (That's how "mono" audio CDs are ...

Re: Recording computer playback without stereo mix [SOLVED]

Thank you for your help! It worked like a charm! The only thing that comes up now is "Stereo Mix" on the recording devices and that works perfect for what I need! Thanks again!

Re: Administrator approval

It seems that guest account can save data, but not by default. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CustomizeGuestSession If we are going to do this thoroughly it may be an idea for Audacity to warn about saving in the Guest's documents on those systems. I don't ...
