Hi , first time poster.
Have audacity version 2.1.2 and FFmeg v0.6.2.
I am having trouble importing MPEG4-audio.
I'm importing audio from Sample Tank (Ipad 2) and there are no problems playing it in Windows Media Player.
Any thoughts.

the only way to open an AUP file is File > Open

Maybe on your machine. On Macs double clicking opens the Project.

Thanks, Steve. I am a cognitive psychologist, so I understand the subtleties of perception. That's why I'm thinking about this question. I'm not an acoustician, though, so I need help with the 'how to' part of it. It does sound like (no pun) balancing RMS is a good way to go.

I to get this error. I upgraded from 2.1.0 which worked perfectly fine. I have deleted all evidence of Audacity and re-installed it but it still happens - just when you want to use it - should know better at my age.
