Sorted itself or you did something different to clear it? It's a forum, not a help desk. Did you run into Windows Enhanced Services? That's pretty common for someone recording music in Windows for the first time. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_recording_troubleshooting.html#enhancements

Sometimes, phrases are all you need.
If you don't know the right phrase, it's next to impossible to google it...

Getting Multi-track with a zoom H5 and Audacity
I have a zoom h5 and will use the audio interface. But the only way I get audacity to pick up the mics is if it is in stereo. Really would like to be able to do it multitrack. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Well now. Both answers are very helpful. Going to have too look up a lot of phrases from the first though. But let's see how the second works out when I get off work tonight
